Sun Aqua Pasikudah, owned by Maldives-based Sun Siyam Resorts, has won the award for Sri Lanka’s Leading Beach Resort at World Travel Awards 2017, awarded at Asia and Australasia Gala Ceremony. The gala ceremony was held on June 4 at the Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai.
Sun Aqua Pasikudah competed against Anantara Kalutara Resort, Anantara Peace Haven Trangalle Resort, Avani Bentota Resort & Spa, Shangri-La’s Hambantota Resort & Spa and Vivanta by Taj – Bentota at the voting round.
The event was attended by all the game-changers and trendsetters of Asia and Australasia. It proved to be the ideal ground for networking.
