“Ever since the 80’s and early 90’s, the country’s tourism sector has seen a huge boom, which I believe is continuing. With the number of resort development projects in the pipeline, we expect the number of job opportunities in the tourism sector to grow by 60,000 in the next half-a-decade,” said Ahmed Adhly Rasheed, Executive Director at Islanders Education.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]“Back in the 80’s and early 90’s, a large percentage of students who completed their secondary education did not have the opportunity or means to pursue higher education. We need to kick-start development of our human capital to cater to the growing demand for well-trained local professionals in the hospitality business.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”16161″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” onclick=”link_image”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]AHLEI represents the hotel industry in the US and provides advocacy and lobbying for the hotel industry with over 25,000 member hotels in the US.
